Too good to be true
4 mars 2007
Men who are good-looking and have a highly paid job are not as attractive to women as those who are good-looking but have an average kind of job, according to researchers. Scientists from the University of Central Lancashire collected data from women, with an average age of 23, asking them to look at personal ads from a number of men and rank them in terms of attractiveness as a long-term partner. Surprisingly, the study found that highly attractive men of medium status scored better than highly attractive men of high status. The researchers said that this may be because the women perceived these men as “too good to be true” and suspected that they might be less faithful. http://www.gq-magazine.co.uk
